<strong>Sixth:</strong> Takes lots of fluid.  Drinking at least six to eight glasses of water a day keeps the body refreshed.  Since weight loss depends on how the body eliminates body wastes, the body must stay hydrated.

<p>Whey Protein is a protein made from milk. Milk is high in protein.  Milk also contains some elements not particularly useful to dieters, like milk fat and lactose sugars.</p>
<p>First, the milk is curdled.  This is a common process, and all cheese, yogurt and sour cream begins with curdled milk.  Further into the cheese making process, the curds are removed to compress into cheese.  What is left is a watery whey protein liquid.  The liquid is placed in a centrifuge where the fats and whey are separated.  When the whey protein is all that is left, it is transformed into powder by drying.</p>
<p>The result is a very rich protein powder.  A few generations ago, the good old egg was thought to be top of the biologically useful protein chart.  But when scientists started to look at whey, they found it easily beat the egg.  The protein absorption scale which previously had the egg at 100, now had to be adjusted to allow for whey concentrate at 104 and whey isolates over 110 up to 159.  So whey isolate protein has the potential to be 50% more biologically useful than egg protein.</p>
<h3>What does this mean for the whey protein diet?</h3>
<p>To begin with it is a meal substitution diet.  Breakfast and lunchtime meals are replaced with a whey protein shake.  The shake itself is whey powder mixed with skim milk or water.  The protein shake has 20 grams of protein, and yet very little carbohydrates of fats.  A serving of whey powder has roughly 20 calories.  Mix it with skim milk for another 80 calories, and you have grand total calorie count of about 200.  you end getting the very high 20 grams of protein in a 200 calorie shake.  You feel full, but your overall calorie intake was lower than if you had eaten a normal breakfast or lunch.</p>

Often times this inability to lose weight stems from seemingly uncontrollable cravings for unhealthy cooked foods. These cravings often lead to binge eating, which (of course) leads to weight gain.</p>
<p>There is a good chance that you struggle with this problem as well. Sure, you might stick to a raw food <a href="http://uteschaedler.yorgoopress.com/diettips" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='Diet Tips';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">diet</a> for maybe a week or so, but those killer cravings always seem to rear their ugly heads again.</p>
<p>Once they&#8217;re back, it&#8217;s all you think about and before you know it, you&#8217;re parked at the nearest fast-food joint chowing down on the fattiest, most unhealthy food you can get your hands on. You spend the rest of the day feeling guilty and dreading your next visit with Mr. Scale. And the cycle continues&#8230;</p>
<p>What to do? Is there anyway to end this madness? Don&#8217;t you wish that there was one easy and effective way to finally lose weight?</p>

<p>As wary as I am to admit it, I used to binge eat. Not only was this physically and mentally damaging, it prevented me from staying at my ideal weight for very long. Luckily, this never became a daily practice for me, but it was a nasty frequent habit nonetheless and one that became harder and harder to stop.</p>
<p>It was not until I learned the value of eating as much raw foods as I wanted and actually implemented this in my life that I no longer felt the urge to binge on unhealthy foods.</p>
<p>There were many days in which I actually ate 3000 calories worth of raw foods&#8230;well over my caloric needs for the day. And yet, I still lost weight!</p>

<p>The principles of centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing and flowing movement are comparable to those of <a href="http://uteschaedler.yorgoopress.com/yoga" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='yoga';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">yoga</a>. There are some basic principles of pilates.</p>
<p>One principle is mind over matter. The central aim of pilates is to create a fusion of mind over body.<br />
Without thinking about it, the body will move with economy, grace and balance.</p>
<p>The end goal is a union of mind and body. Practitioners believe that using the body to the greatest advantage, making the most of its strengths, counteracting its weakness and correcting the imbalances within.</p>
<p>Breathing is also key in pilates. Breathing circulates the blood so that it awakens the cells in the body. They then carry away the waste that is related to fatigue. For the blood to do its work, it needs to be properly maintained and full of oxygen.</p>
<p>Centering and concentration are key in pilates. Centering in pilates uses the abdomen, lower back, hips and buttocks, also known as the powerhouse. This is where all energies come from and flow outward to the extremities.</p>
<p>Concentration is important because pilates demands intense focus. Beginners need to pay close attention to their bodies and build on delicate, small movements and controlled breathing. Also, control and precision are important. Every movement has a method and purpose in pilates.</p>

Qualified Pilates instructors will teach you ways to keep the rhythm of your breathing in sync with the exercises.</p>
<p>You will also be instructed to keep your mind on your muscles and exactly what you are doing. Pilates main goal is to unite your mind with your body. This helps to relieve anxiety and stress.</p>
<p>- Be comfortable.</p>
<p>- Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and bear in mind that Pilates is typically done without shoes. If you start to feel uncomfortable, experience pain or feel strained then it is time to stop.</p>
<p>- Let it flow.</p>
<p>- As you perform your Pilates exercises you should avoid any quick, jerky movements. Each movement should be slow, but it should still be strong and flexible.</p>
<p>Joseph Pilates worked with dancers so it was his aim that the movements would flow like a dance.</p>
<p>- Put your heart into it.</p>
<p>- One of the nice things about doing Pilates is that you don&#8217;t even have to break a sweat.</p>
